What is a Stop Motion Animation?
Stop Motion Animations are a way to create videos by taking lots of photos. In each scene, you change the picture just a little bit. Each of your pictures here serves as a ‘frame’. Normally, a video will have around 60 frames per second. That means that each second of video is 60 pictures, and because these pictures are so fast, we can’t even tell this.
Cartoons like Wallace & Gromit and Mickey Mouse were all done using stop motion. Over the next 5 lessons, you’ll create your own Stop Motion video!
